History

Grapes started in 2000 with only one employee. The success of the business has opened up new markets world wide and now Grapes in part of the world wide web.  

Catherine Nwajei, the President and CEO of The Grapes Companies attended Loyola University Chicago and graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Management Information Systems.  

Catherine has always been very creative and as a habit, decorated functions for family members and friends. She used this passion to start her business and invested in several consulting, management, and craft courses; thus gave birth to Grapes.

 

Who We Are

The Grapes Companies is an event management organization, specializing in themed events.

 

 Head Quarters in Nigeria at 48/50 Oluwaleyimu Street, Ikeja Lagos.

    

Former Head Quarters in Chicago at 1400 W. Devon Avenue, Suite 165, Chicago Illinois 60660, which is now a collection office for supplies, run by two employees.

 
 

What We Do

The company is broken down into five separate companies to focus and specialize in various events.

 
  1. 1.Grapes Event Managers  - Specialize in themed, corporate, & government events & tourism.
  2. 2.Solomon's Porch Christian Children's Theater – Community commitment organization which focuses on the youth.
  3. 3.Grapes Marketing – Provides printing services , home & office stationary, marketing/events products, and event web sites.
  4. 4.NaijaSource.com – An on-line directory for Nigerian interests in business & people networking, events and lifestyles.
  5. 5.Eden's Garden – Events Property
